Submersible motors

Like the submersible pumps, the submersible motors are devided in ranges, depending on the drilling well internal diameter. Ranges are as follows:

4" submersible motors for 4" (DN100) or wider wells. They are coupled with 4" and 6" submersible pumps.

6" submersible motors for 6" (DN150) or wider wells. They are coupled with 6", 8" and 10" submersible pumps.

8" submersible motors for 8" (DN200) or wider wells. They are coupled with 8", 10" and 12" submersible pumps.

10" submersible motors for 10" (DN270) or wider wells. They are coupled with 8", 10", 12" and 14" submersible pumps.

When the submersible pumps are installed in wells, tanks, sumps or lakes (water sources with linear dimensions greater than the motor diameter), suitable external cooling jacket must be installed in order to provide at least the minimal cooling flow around the motor. Motors fro 6" up should be equipped also with PT100 thermal sensor.

The installation of cooling jacket is required and when the water inlets are above the motor level.
